Access to the SCIP Glossary

The SCIP glossary is in the public domain and can be accessed through the official SCIP website. Clinicians and researchers are permitted to use the printed version of the glossary for teaching and research purposes. However, no individual, organization, or entity may digitize the SCIP Glossary without prior written permission from Dr. Aboraya.

The SCIP glossary includes 30 screening items and 200 psychopathology items and is the most consistent and comprehensive psychopathology vocabulary in psychiatric literature. the SCIP glossary is the only glossary that provides reliability estimates for each item. Each of the 230 SCIP glossary items has the same title/subtitle and definition across psychiatric diagnoses, which makes the SCIP a truly transdiagnostic instrument.
