How to receive formal Measurement-Based Care (MBC) Training?

Formal training in Measurement-Based Care (MBC) is now available through the Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) at West Virginia University (WVU). You can find more information on the MBC training on the website.

(Access to WVU CME courses; Informational Page on our website for MBC training)

Instructions to Register for SOLE for External Providers outside West Virginia University:

  1. The first thing is to download an authenticator app. This will be used later, but it's easier if it's already downloaded. Example of an authenticator app is one called "Authy" but any will work.
  2. Go to the following link: https://ce.wvu.edu/web-course-list/mbc-training/
  3. After clicking the link, the user will be asked to self-enroll. This will require name, email, and phone number.
  4. After enrolling, an email will be sent to the address provided and will include a link. After clicking this link, the user will be asked to create a password.
  5. At this point, the user should be shown a QR code that if the user points at the code with the cellphone's camera, that will open a link to the authenticator app. Clicking this will add SOLE to the app and provide a code with each login.
  6. Input the code provided by the authenticator app.
